See Spot Walk 2023

About See Spot Walk 2023

The Idaho Humane Society is celebrating our 31st annual See Spot Walk.

Saturday, October 7th at Julia Davis Park at 10 AM

As the chill of fall brightly paints the leaves, we invite you to join in the fun of this community tradition! You will have the opportunity to engage with other dog enthusiasts, sample dog-related goodies from our vendors, purchase tasty beverage and delicious eats from local establishments, and set out on the 1-mile dog walk. All while helping the Idaho Humane Society in its mission to advocate for the responsible care and welfare of animals in the Treasure Valley and beyond.

You are a vital part of Idaho Humane Society's fundraising efforts, allowing us to serve over 10,000 animals in need every year. This year's registration will also allow you to share your participation with your online community and generate even more funds for these pawsome pets.

This event is smoke free thanks to our sponsor Project Filter!

Don't miss this opportunity to share in the energizing experience with your four-legged fur friends and family members of all ages. Every registrant will walk away with a legendary See Spot Walk t-shirt; we also have limited-edition hoodies available!

How Your Support Makes a Difference

Summer is a busy time for so many. That includes us here at the Idaho Humane Society. While others are taking time off, we’re working twice as hard to care for a surge of homeless pets and litters, lost and stray animals, and other urgent needs. Even our utilities can be more expensive in the summer — straining our resources when animals need comfort and care the most.

I’m asking for pets like Peas. When this 13-week-old puppy came to us, she was badly hurt. Peas’ family lives in a rural area and she had broken a bone when a horse kicked her. She needed medical attention, including orthopedic surgery, if she was going to survive. At our Veterinary Medical Center, her family also turned to us for financial assistance in order to bear the cost of this procedure to get Peas well again.

In our care, Peas got the financial assistance and surgery she needed. She has some pins her leg now, but she’s back home, surrounded by a loving family, and is expected to fully recover! This summer, we’ll meet so many animals — even “perfectly imperfect” ones that need medical treatment, training, or TLC. Your donations will invest in the care and second chances they deserve. Thank you for supporting our mission!

Thank you for your support!
